Wu Gang, male, born in 1958, is a member of the Communist Party of China (CPC). He holds a master's degree, is a professorate senior engineer, deputy to the 12th National People's Congress (NPC), and member of the 13th National Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference (CPPCC), and is entitled to the special allowance by China's State Council. He serves as Chairman of Goldwind Science & Technology Co., Ltd., a company listed on the Shenzhen Stock Exchange and Hong Kong Stock Exchange. He also served as Secretary of Party Committee and Chairman of Xinjiang New Energy (Group) Co., Ltd., Deputy Director of Chinese Wind Energy Association, and Vice President of the World Wind Energy Association.

Since 1987, Wu Gang has devoted himself to China’s wind power industry. With 30 years of rich wind power technology experience and industry expertise, he is one of the pioneers of China's wind power industry. He has travelled to Denmark, Germany, and the United Kingdom many times to receive professional technical and engineering training and work, and has accumulated rich experience in wind power technology and industry background. Mr. Wu has shown outstanding leadership in business model innovation, organization building, technological innovation, and resource integration.

The outstanding contributions of Mr. Wu in technological innovation and clean energy have been recognized. Since 1993, he won the first prize of Award for Progress in National Energy Science and Technology, was honored with the National Model Worker, was the Beijing 2008 Olympic Torchbearer, and won China Renewable Energy Outstanding Contribution Award. In 2017, he won more than ten national and world-class honors such as the second prize of the National Science and Technology Progress Award and the annual World Wind Energy Award. In 2018, he was selected into the 2018 Cases of Climate Leaders and awarded the title of "Climate Leader". In 2019, Goldwind became the first enterprise in the wind power industry to win the "National Quality Award" and he won the honorary title of "Top Ten Leaders in 2019 New Energy". In the selection of leaders and enterprises in clean energy for the brilliant 70 years, Goldwind won the "Outstanding Enterprise Award" and he won the title of "Outstanding Leader of China's Clean Energy". In the "70 Years of Energy･Leaders" selection, he won the "Energy Lifetime Achievement Award” with his outstanding contributions to the development of China's renewable energy industry. He was also awarded with the commemorative medal for the 70th Anniversary of the Establishment of the People's Republic of China by the CPC Central Committee, the State Council, and the Central Military Commission.

吴刚，男，1958年出生，中共党员。他拥有硕士学位，教授级高级工程师，第十二届全国人大代表(NPC)，第十三届全国政协委员(CPPCC)，享受国务院特殊津贴。他是金风科技股份有限公司的董事长，该公司在深圳证券交易所和香港联合交易所上市。曾任新疆新能源(集团)有限公司党委书记、董事长，中国风能协会副理事长，世界风能协会副会长。 自1987年以来，吴刚一直致力于中国的风力发电行业。他拥有30年丰富的风电技术经验和行业专业知识，是中国风电行业的开拓者之一。他多次赴丹麦、德国、英国接受专业的技术和工程培训和工作，积累了丰富的风电技术经验和行业背景。吴先生在商业模式创新、组织建设、技术创新和资源整合方面表现出卓越的领导力。 吴先生在科技创新和清洁能源方面的突出贡献得到了认可。自1993年以来，他获得国家能源科技进步一等奖，荣获全国劳动模范，是北京2008年奥运会火炬手，并获得中国可再生能源杰出贡献奖。2017年获得国家科技进步二等奖、年度世界风能奖等十余项国家级、世界级荣誉。2018年入选2018年度气候领袖案例，荣获“气候领袖”称号。2019年，金风科技成为风电行业首家获得“国家质量奖”的企业，他获得了“2019新能源十大领军人物”荣誉称号。在“辉煌70年清洁能源领袖与企业”评选中，金风科技荣获“杰出企业奖”，他荣获“中国清洁能源杰出领袖”称号。在“70年能源︹领袖”评选中，他凭借对中国可再生能源产业发展的突出贡献，荣获“能源终身成就奖”。他还被中共中央、国务院和中央军委授予中华人民共和国成立70周年纪念奖章。
