His research interests include business/innovation ecosystems, digital economy and data ecology. He has presided over research projects supported by National Social Science Major, National self-Science Foundation, national high-end think tank, British Academy, Huawei, China Electronics, ByteDance and Tencent. He is the editor of the Journal of Digital Economy.
